Dior’s New Toujours Hobo Is Giving the Lady Dior Some Competition

While the Lady Dior remains the Dior’s defining icon, the Dior Toujours introduced a softer side to Dior. First unveiled by Maria Grazia Chiuri for Spring-Summer 2023, the design retained signature House codes — from Cannage quilting to the dangling D.I.O.R. charms — but traded the structure of the Lady Dior for an effortless tote silhouette. For Autumn-Winter 2026/27, Jonathan Anderson continues that evolution with the new Dior Toujours Hobo.

Retaining the signature Cannage motif, CD Lock clasp, and iconic D.I.O.R. charms, the Dior Toujours Hobo takes the already-relaxed style and adds sweeping curves and generous volume. Crafted from supple lambskin, the leather is cut and assembled into a bucket-inspired construction that creates the bag’s distinctive rounded profile. Despite its relaxed appearance, the silhouette is carefully engineered to maintain its sculptural form, secured with a discreet magnet.

Its relaxed silhouette is matched by a decidedly grab-and-go approach. Alongside the integrated top handle, an adjustable and removable leather strap allows the bag to be carried by hand, over the shoulder, or crossbody.

The Dior Toujours Hobo is available in both Mini and Small sizes. Currently, only the Small is available through Dior’s online boutique, while both sizes have begun arriving in Dior boutiques. The Small measures 22.5 x 14 x 7.5 cm (9 x 5.5 x 3 inches) and is designed to accommodate everyday essentials, including a wallet, phone, sunglasses, and lipstick. The Mini, meanwhile, shrinks the proportions  (with dimensions yet to be confirmed) and swaps the leather shoulder strap for a delicate chain strap, giving the silhouette a more evening-ready feel.

Currently available  in Black, Soupir Green, Ballet Pink, and Ice Blue Cannage lambskin, the Dior Toujours Hobo also comes in rich olive green and dark tan suede for the cooler months ahead. The Small retails for $3,700.

Less than four years after the Dior Toujours made its debut, Jonathan Anderson’s reinterpretation demonstrates how quickly one of Dior’s newest handbag families has evolved.
