It’s a Small Small World at Jacquemus Spring 2019

We have been fascinated by the lengths (or lack thereof) that up and coming brand Jacquemus will go to be small. Kendall Jenner carried a teeny weeny handle bag also seen on her sisters (read Kendall Jenner Carries Smallest Bag Ever). One of our crew went looking for it (but won’t confess whether she found it).

Jacquemus hit Paris Fashion week big… and really small… for Spring 2019. Certainly, size matters and it’s a question of how you use it.

First the big… ginormous straw in fact… an apropos match for the oversized hats of Summer 2018. Maybe it’s a straw illusion, but the look is still large.

The real bag scene though was so itsy bitsy teeny weeny that you almost need a microscope to find it (just kidding). As a result, these are purses that truly beg the bag question of what can you put inside. Probably a credit card? Maybe lipstick? Unlikely a phone?
