Louis Vuitton just gave its American bag fans something to cry about: a price increase across the house’s handbag offerings as of May 27, 2026.

The hikes affect the full range, hitting the Speedy, Alma, Neverfull, Keepall, and Pochette Métis, alongside newer leather-led silhouettes. The good news, if you can call it that, is that increases are generally contained within the low-to-mid single-digit range, around 2–3% across most styles.

Not all styles are treated equally, however. The most pronounced increases are concentrated in the house’s leather-led lines. The “Low Key” collection in particular saw some of the steepest adjustments in this round, with styles such as the Low Key Cookie MM and Low Key Cabas MM rising by around $150–$250, equivalent to roughly 4%–6% increases and notably above the wider canvas average.

This latest price hike comes against a more cautious luxury environment. LVMH’s latest Q1 2026 results pointed to a softer start to the year, with organic growth of just 1% and a 2% decline in its Fashion & Leather Goods division — the group’s key profit engine, anchored by Louis Vuitton.

It remains to be seen whether a second US price adjustment will follow later in the year, as it did in 2025, but this move fits Louis Vuitton’s regular pattern of incremental price increases.
