Read also: New Confirmed Hermès Prices in Europe 2026
New year, new you… new Hermès prices. Following the pattern established in 2025, the Maison rang in 2026 with swift price adjustments, beginning in Europe before landing stateside. EU handbag prices increased first, climbing between 1.5% and 10% depending on model and material, prompting inevitable speculation around what U.S. shoppers could expect.
As detailed numbers continue to roll in, U.S. handbag price adjustments for 2026 fall in the range of 3.8–10.3%, edging slightly above the European increases for the same models. The ever-popular Mini Kelly 20 in Epsom now commands $11,400, while the Kelly 25 in Togo Retourne is priced at $13,700 — compared with €8,000 (+7.4%) and €9,600 (+7.3%) in Europe, respectively.
Newly confirmed pricing for the Kelly 28 clarifies the broader strategy: both Togo and Epsom now retail at $15,400, confirming a clear alignment across leathers within the same size. This mirrors the pricing alignment already seen in Europe and signals that the U.S. market is now following the same structure. As a result, the Kelly 25 in Togo, and Epsom has reached parity — with the same alignment now firmly in place for the Kelly 28, and likely to extend to larger sizes such as the K32.
Meanwhile, the Birkin 25 has seen a notable increase of its own, rising from $12,700 to $13,500. This $800 jump represents a 6.3% increase. However, this adjustment does not yet reflect the European-style pricing alignment seen across Kelly and Birkin models by size. The Birkin 30 price jumped 7.2%, now hovering just below $15k, at $14,900, while the Birkin 35 sells at $16,300, a 7.9% increase.
Stay tuned as U.S. Hermès pricing continues to evolve — we’ll keep you updated as the full picture unfolds.

For most Hermès products, these price hikes outpace the rate of inflation, suggesting that the Hermès increases are not primarily driven by rising production costs. Is it an attempt to bolster the top line and take advantage of the ever-growing demand for its exclusive products? We’ll let you decide.
Whether you are shocked or relieved, everyone likely can agree on one thing — Hermès prices seem to have no limits. Long gone are the days of annual 2-3% adjustments, as is the pandemic era price stability. Last year Hermès hit its clients with a 6-7% increase in the US (3-8% in the EU). It then doubled down on American shoppers in May 2025, lifting prices another 5%, as it passed along the cost of US tariffs.
