From Paris to Los Angeles, Dior continued its Hollywood story with Jonathan Anderson’s Cruise 2027 debut. Presented May 13, 2026 at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the show underscores Dior’s commitment to the City of Angels, following the reopened and expanded Beverly Hills flagship on Rodeo Drive.

An ode to Hollywood glamour, the collection explored Dior’s long-standing relationship with Los Angeles through a cinematic lens, balancing couture references with a distinctly Californian ease. “Dior’s rich history in Hollywood was a starting point for this collection, which came to life like a field of Californian poppies in late Spring,” Jonathan Anderson explained. Bouclé tailoring, sequinned suiting and lace eveningwear were offset with softer patchwork scarves, shearling outerwear and floral touches throughout.

The Dior man appeared throughout the collection, woven into the runway’s Hollywood narrative. Sequinned suiting, leather trousers, and relaxed pajama shirting channelled a distinctly LA attitude, alongside a series of classic American shirts created in collaboration with Ed Ruscha.

The bags balanced house signatures with fresh silhouettes. Jonathan Anderson revisited the Dior Bow Bag in archival newsprint, while the softly crinkled textures of the Dior Crunchy contrasted against delicate minaudières. New silhouettes included a streamlined reinterpretation of the Saddle alongside a new bucket style finished with the Dior Médaillon. Larger bags were slung casually over the shoulders, usually on men, including slouchy suede messenger styles accented with contrasting Cannage stitching, and the show’s finale look featuring an oversized black-and-white houndstooth wool tote.

Dior Saddle Bag
Galliano’s iconic Saddle Bag is reworked this season into a softer, more relaxed silhouette. Still echoing its signature saddle shape complete with mini ‘D’ stirrup detail, the design feels less structured and more streamlined, sitting closer to the body despite its larger proportions. Finished with a long shoulder strap, the design was presented in chocolate brown suede and leather.
The same style also appeared in a slightly smaller khaki crocodile version.

Another Saddle-inspired offering strode the runway in a smaller pochette-style format, not too dissimilar to Dior’s current Saddle Rodeo Pouch. The design featured a structured gold-tone kiss-lock frame finished with a dangling ‘DIOR’ charm, alongside a slim adjustable shoulder strap. Presented in a variety of finishes, from rich red suede, to smooth black leather, and high-shine crystal finishes, the bag was styled as a clutch on the runway.

Among the new Saddle silhouettes, the original style also appeared, some in quilting combined with contrasting crocodile trim including on the handles. These Saddle Bags were presented in combinations of white and black and white and red, each finished with elevated hardware detailing.

Dior Médaillon Bucket Bag
Arriving with a vintage-inspired feel, the new Dior Bucket Bag showcases the classic silhouette in slightly grained leather. The north-south design features a leather drawstring fastening adorned with a gold-tone Dior Médaillon, alongside both a long adjustable shoulder strap and a shorter top-handle carry option. Leather options were black and burgundy, as well as brown and gray suede.

Dior Shoulder Bags
Defined by its slouchy silhouette, the new zip-top Shoulder Bag arrives finished with Cannage stitching and a subtle gold-tone metal CD emblem. Designed with elongated dual top handles, on the runway, the style was carried by a single strap to further emphasize its relaxed shape. Presented in both smooth leather and suede, the bag appeared in soft neutral tones including beige, and khaki, alongside burgundy, and black.

Another new, more minimalist hobo-style Shoulder Bag also appeared on the runway, defined by its elongated north-south silhouette. Crafted with a slouchy body and crescent shaped base, the design features a leather-interwoven chain shoulder strap, attached to the body via a statement ‘D’ emblem.

Dior Bow Bag
The Christian Dior Daily has landed, hot off the press. Teased ahead of the show as one of the pre-released hero pieces, Jonathan Anderson reimagines his Spring–Summer 2026 Dior Bow Bag with an archival touch – now reimagined with the iconic monochrome newsprint motif. The newsprint motif also reflects a wider mood across the season, extending beyond Dior and appearing in Chanel’s Cruise 2027 narrative under Matthieu Blazy.
Anderson’s design nods back to John Galliano’s Autumn–Winter 2000 collection, where the idea of Dior as a daily headline first took shape. Finished with a silver-tone chain, the design was presented in two sizes, the original, and a larger format which was tucked under the model’s arm on the runway.

The Dior Bow Bag also arrived in more textural interpretations, including a metallic sequin houndstooth edition in black and white, woven through with flashes of bronze, alongside a fully embellished version covered in sequins and beadwork that mimicked florals in bloom.

Dior Cigale Handag
The Dior Cigale Handbag blooms for Cruise 2027, reimagined in glossy crocodile skins in rich burgundy and warm tan hues, adorned with floral detailing. More pared-back iterations appeared too, with classic versions rendered in striking lipstick red and pastel pink.

Also spied on the Cruise 2027 runway is a smaller Cigale version with a delicate strap. Rendered in black-and-white houndstooth woven with metallic thread, the design was finished with a contrasting black leather top handle and inner flap.

Lady Dior
No Dior collection is complete without the iconic Lady Dior. This season, the house signature appeared in shimmering black-and-gold metallic houndstooth sequins, alongside a bright white version finished with layered feather-like textures that almost resembled petals.

Minaudières
The Autumn–Winter 2026/27 season introduced the Frog Minaudière, and the Dior menagerie continues to grow with a new arrival: a Hedgehog. Playful yet meticulously crafted, the piece comes in high-shine silver with an enamel pink nose and feet, topped with a plush chocolate-brown suede upper. Anderson finishes the design with his signature flourish: replacing the quills with tailored pins, each tipped with a pearl.

Jonathan Anderson brings to Dior his fondness for feathery companions; after all, he’s the mind behind the now-iconic Pigeon Bag in his eponymous collection. Introducing the Dior bird minaudière – complete with dainty chain shoulder strap.

Lucky ladybugs return to the runway in the Cruise 2027 lineup, joined by the House’s longstanding bee motif, and a more unusual snail. First introduced through a series of insect-inspired minaudières in the Haute Couture 2026 collection, the playful designs are now elevated with crystal embellishment across their surfaces, with the Bee also featuring delicate mother-of-pearl wings. Finished with fine chain shoulder straps, the Bee Minaudière was styled alongside the Dior Crunchy in pale pink, while the Snail was paired with the new take on the Saddle Bag.

Petit Dîner Bag
Dior Petit Dîner Bag – introduced in the Spring-Summer 2026 collection – received a sparkly makeover. Reinterpreting the four-leaf clover, one of Dior’s timeless lucky motifs, the delicate design was crafted in cut-out metalwork formed of clover motifs, some finished in green enamel and others set with dazzling crystals. A final enamel ladybird perched at the top fastening added a finishing touch.
Another adorned version included a richly textural floral interpretation, adorned entirely with delicate sequin petals and intricate beadwork. While a glossy finish elevated a simpler tortoise-shell version.
