Folks this is something I really need to do. I have some brand new CHANEL in the box that I went crazy buying last S/S season. I simply feel so guilty having purchased so many colors all at once. I need to learn the best way to sell. It’s hard to give to a consignment that wants to give me only 1/2 of what I paid when bags are brand new ?. I am definitely more selective now, because I have these dreaded REMINDERS in my closet ?

I love Delvaux! “The Astrid” (unfortunately discontinued) was my very first designer bag (I live in Belgium, I guess that’s why). I think the medium brillant nowadays is around € 4000 (depending on the leather). Perhaps you can e-mail customer service? They might ship to your country?

I Always travel with my Neverfull! Perfect bag for travelling :-)

Hi everyone, I’ve sold some bags in the past. The ones I found that I wasn’t using anymore (for example: my Marc By Marc Jacobs Classic Q Hillier). Mostely these are the more “sporty” bags that were in my collection. Nowadays I overthink more before I buy a bag, this means I don’t need to sell them anymore. I love each and everyone in my collection. And I use all of them :-)

I never sold a bag. I usually give new and/or used Birkin bags to my sister – who can very well afford them but chooses to come to me with the I-have-children-to-feed story. HA!

I adore those sandals! I tried them on but unfortunately they are not a perfect match for my feet :( I have wide feet so sometimes it is tricky when it comes to sandals! I am also obsessed with Chanel haha, but then again who isn’t :) Which kind of sneaker would you like to get? I am also thinking of getting the boot on the pic below, however it is quite hard to find it in my size, several attempts failed :(

I love buying my Chanel pieces in the Rue Cambon store. Whenever I want another Chanel piece I’ll always make it a little more special by taking the Thalys for a day in Paris and buying at Rue Cambon. Love the Parisian atmosphere. Hereby my latest purchase, so in love with it! :-)

Well I LOVE your Nike shoes! I think they are super cool! I only have a pair of pink Nike sneakers and thats it lol (and they are not even custom made but they look super cool when I wear them)
I understand that you must be fed up with some of CLs designs, honestly even I thought that part of the collection has been repetitive. I like to try new stuff! But then again, women have it much easier than men; we have soo many more options!
I love ur shoes though! I think it is very important for a man to have beautiful footwear! I wish more guys were like you! And I have to say, those Greggon in Python shoes look absolutely amazing! I cannot wait to see it on you!!!

Hi sweet, thanks for the topic – I love it. I share your obsession for both bags and shoes, it’s an alarming sickness?? This is funny but I’m on the opposite path you’re on. I used to hate dress shoes and be crazy over sneakers! Now all I want is dress shoes and find sneakers boring, mostly. I’ve also got a growing obsession with Nike custom running shoes for the gym.

I limit myself when it comes to shoes.. I only wear Louboutins, occasionally some Louis Vuitton and Hermes. So perhaps that’s why I’m sick of sneakers? Most Louboutin high tops are the same now and I find many of the latest styles awfully tacky and/or recycled. But Mr CL is really killing it when it comes to dress shoes and boots this year, so I won’t complain too much.

My next shoe purchase HAS to be the Greggo in python. Just heaven! I also need he Brian boot – perfect for fall.

This Nantucket basket tote is my go-to Summer favorite – I can fit everything+ in it:
Hermes Bebop and Bebop Mini (for make up, medicine, etc.)
LV Emilie wallet (for $ to buy more SLG’s ;o)
LV mini Papillion (perfect to store phone charger, ear buds, etc.)
And a Kindle, phone, tissues, ‘strawberry’ shopping tote, and mints round off the supplies to carry me through my day.

I am currently in Europe, and I just bought two bags. One of them is a Le Boy in new medium size, which costed me €4,150 minus 13% of VAT refund = €539. The total I paid for the bag at the end was €3,610, which is approximately $4,000.
The same bag in USA costs $5,200 + 8% taxes (in California) total of 5,500.
I still saved $1,500 at the end, after the price increase in Europe. And YES, totally worth it!
