Dear Cali (& Cali-traveling) PurseBoppers,

You’ll be delighted to hear that the time has come: the Orange County Hermès sale is set to take place this week! We have the exclusive details:

Location:
South Coast Collection (SOCO)
3309 Hyland Avenue
Suite F
Costa Mesa, CA 92626

Dates:

July 26th-29th: General Sales

Time:
July 26th-28th: 10am-6pm
July 29th: 10am-5pm

PurseBop’s Tips:
It’s safe to say that we know our way around an H sale at this point! At the sale, you can expect to find a myriad of Hèrmes goods—except for handbags. Think shoes, scarves, jewelry, hats, and RTW. Unfortunately for those seeking any handbags, from an Evelyne to a Birkin, you’ll have to stick to the classic Hermès boutique. Also, remember to get there early! From past experience, we know that one cannot simply waltz up to an Hermès sale and enter at their leisure—there are, in fact, lines and time limits to shopping. We’d recommend arriving well before 10am (and wearing comfortable shoes for waiting around!).

Happy shopping! We wonder which, if any, Real Housewives of Orange County will be shopping there…

I ended up going to check the sales again in the last day.
Line was pretty big but moving fast. I waited about an hour to get in.
Jewelry line was huge, I didn’t even dare to stay. I’m done with lines for a very long time after spending 5.5 hours on Thursday ugh and another hour today.
My goal was to get one cashmere.
Couldn’t make up my mind. Walked to the shoe section and nothing good was left at this point.
Went back to scarves section, then I found what I wanted!! This gorgeous collectors piece! So glad I went back.
My overall experience with Hermès sales was amazing! I love every single thing I got from them. I’m broke now, but super happy!!

When am i going to wear this gorgeous shawl in Orange County? Never!
But this will definitely go visit the mothership store in Paris soon enough :)

The experience was not as horrible as I imagined it would be. There was a shade to wait in line; they allowed 100 people inside at first and we waited in queue (we arrived at 10 am). Below are my buys from the sale (total is $1800)

#HermesSaleHaul ; When you find specific things on your wish list at 50-60% off.???? What luck.????
.
I went on the first day hoping to find the Vert Emeraude Kate Swimsuit ????. I asked my H????Fairy????????‍♂️ to look for it earlier this year. Unfortunately, the store who had 1 left was not going to sell it because there was a tiny hole. I was sad, but moved on.
When he mentioned that there was a Sale in Orange County, CA and that they might have “your swimsuit” there, I made sure to clear up my schedule and make it a trip! We went to the beach the day before (my bribe to the boys????????????????????????) and stayed the night. Being an early bird, it worked out to my benefit, I showed up in line at 645am and there was about 50+ people in front of me. It wasn’t long before the doors opened at 10am and our group was inside by 10:30am! It went rather quickly and I was surprised. I met some lovely people in line & inside, and my new friend and I made plans to help each other find the things we were looking for. She was after a past season Shawl, and she found it! I was so happy for her. She pointed me at the direction of the swimsuits and I found Vert Emeraude Kate, and she cheered for me. ❤️ Before heading to the cashier, I made 1 last stop to see the newly replenished swimsuit bins and TADAA, I found a second Kate Swimsuit in Sorbet! I grabbed it and proceeded to pay for my goodies. 60% off RTW (Swim too!????) and 50% off everything else.
Being the early group of people in the building, everything was super organized! No pushing, no crowding. I spent 2hours inside browsing, trying on RTW and shoes, and looking at accessories which had it’s own line. It did not feel like Sale Shopping at all and it was NOT LIKE what I read online about H Sales. I thought that if it is this organized, I might have to come back another day, but over all I am VERY HAPPY with my scores and very grateful for the experience..????
.
Thank you for taking the time to read. :)

Even though pictures weren’t allowed inside, I tried to sneak some for you to peak:

My personal experience:
Arrived at 9am and stood in line for 5 1/2 hours. Line was super slow! They’re letting one person out and one in. Was taking forever! I had probably 200 people in front of me.
When I finally got in was already 2:30pm. Location was super small and jammed!
There’s no time limit inside which they should’ve had.
I spent 3 1/2 hours inside fighting with the crowds to get shoes, find an SA to help with size and another loooong line for jewelry.
No line for scarves, you can just grab them easily.
I left at 6pm right when they’re closing and feel like I don’t have enough time to look at other stuff such as clothes, swimwear, men’s.
Very tiring. But I’m happy with my scores!

They aren’t letting pictures and videos inside. I’m still in line, it has been 3 hours in line already.
