Saint Laurent, Miu Miu and COS hold their ground at the top from Q3 2025. And when we step back to the same period last year, the only difference is that Saint Laurent and Miu Miu traded places. In a year brimming with creative shake-ups, the Lyst Index proves that sometimes consistency is the real power move in fashion.

Stability at the top might seem surprising, but it doesn’t signal a lack of activity. Brands making gains are focusing on what they do best — sharpening signature styles, refining key silhouettes, and staying true to their core identity. For Saint Laurent, this approach is supported by one of Q4’s hottest products, the Vendôme Slingback Pump (#8).

Beyond the top three, the quarter also sees notable movement further down the Index. Massimo Dutti enters at #16, reflecting growing demand for accessible, design-conscious wardrobe staples. Nike re-enters the ranking, highlighting ongoing interest in sneakers and athleisure alongside more polished wardrobe essentials.

On the product side, practicality continues to dominate. The #1 hottest item this quarter is the Polo Ralph Lauren cable-knit quarter-zip (#1), reflecting a turn toward versatile, wearable staples. Following closely are the Massimo Dutti puffer jacket (#2) and the Arc’teryx Bird Head toque (#3). The Burberry cashmere scarf (#4) shows that attention is shifting toward designer accessories that are more accessible, yet still unmistakably iconic.

Only one handbag makes the top 10 hottest products this quarter. At #5 sits the Chloé Paddington, and notably, it’s a reissue. Originally launched in 2005 by then-creative director Phoebe Philo, the Paddington debuted on Chloé’s Spring/Summer 2005 runway and quickly became one of the defining It-bags of the early 2000s. Its slouchy silhouette and oversized padlock captured the bohemian-luxe mood of the era. Two decades later, it returned on Chloé’s Autumn/Winter 2025 runway, reintroduced to a new generation of shoppers.

In a ranking otherwise dominated by knitwear, outerwear and practical staples, the Paddington’s presence suggests that when shoppers invest in bags today, they are gravitating toward familiarity — Y2K icons with cultural memory.

Will shoppers continue favoring familiar classics and accessible luxury, or is a wave of bold, new designs on the horizon?
