Bottega Veneta’s Fall 2024 runway showcased a large number of handbags, probably not a surprise for a brand long-known for its quiet luxury intrecciato leather creations. Not resting on the laurels of the popular Jodie, Pouch, and Cassette, last year brought the Mini Sardine, Andiamo, and Gemelli. The first two are back for Fall 2024, along with other new and old styles, big and small.

Take a peek at some of the bags that caught our attention.

First the repeaters from recent seasons. Check out the Sardine style with a different handle than the metal from last season. And the Andiamo in bright red.

A bag that resembles a flap clutch version of the Kalimero Città or Rumple Messenger showed up on repeat. This boxy style featured a version of the intrecciato weave in soft foulard.

Big slouchy bags, in both plain and intrecciato leather, as well as exotic looks, were carried by models, male and female. That includes the large (or larger) Andiamo.

Clutch lovers may be pleased with the selection of these handheld or tucked. The Andiamo long clutch (drawing comparisons to the Hermès Kelly Cut) reappears, as does a knot box clutch, this time in what looks like wood. And what might be the Sardine sister, is a clutch shaped just like a fish . . . good luck angling for that one.
