NEWS FLASH: Chanel handbag prices are officially up in the United States. This is the first US price increase on the Classic line of handbags since March 2024, and the most comprehensive re-tagging of other Chanel styles. As seen in our charts below, expect to pay roughly 5% more for Chanel’s Classic and 2.55 handbags, with 3-7% increases on a range of other models.

The Chanel Classic Flaps and the 2.55 models in all sizes incurred a $500 price hike – just below a 5% increase. The 11.12, known as the Classic, now retails for $11,300, up from $10,800. The new Small Classic price is $10,900; the Large Classic is $12,200; and the Maxi Classic is $12,800. The line of 2.55 bags is priced the same.
Other lines affected include the Chanel 22, Chanel 19, and Boy Bag, with details in the below charts. As of writing, the Chanel 25 prices have not changed.
The mini Chanel 22 has been repriced at $5300, up from $5000, or 6%, while the price of the Small 22 rose $400 to $5900, or a 7.3% increase.

Although there have been periodic rumors of an impending increase, in recent months Chanel also indicated that it was pausing its hikes. This led many to believe that the next price adjustments would coincide with new Creative Director Matthew Blazy’s first collection in October 2025. Prior CD Virginie Viard abruptly left the brand in June 2024, and Chanel has been without a head designer since then.
