The Chanel Heart Bag arrived on the runway in the Spring/Summer 2022 collection, a fresh reimagination of the Maison’s iconic 1990s heart-shaped top-handle vanity bag. Blending nostalgic design with contemporary styling, the CC in Love Heart Bag was instantly hailed as a collector’s piece. It channeled all the Chanel codes – diamond quilting, CC turn-lock, Mona Lisa back pocket, and chain strap – wrapped in a playful silhouette that felt bold and timeless.

Originally released in limited quantities, the CC in Love Heart Bag became one of Chanel’s most sought-after seasonal pieces. For 25B, the house revives the coveted style in four sizes and a fresh palette — all crafted in supple lambskin leather with hardware that complements each color: light gold-tone for most, and silver-tone for the metallic silver shade.

Meet the Four Heart Bags

Leading the lineup is the Heart Bag in the large size (AS5764), measuring 7.1 x 7.5 x 2 inches. It retains all the key features that made the original 22S version so beloved — including the diamond quilting, CC turn-lock front pocket, and two-way zipper with heart-shaped pulls.

The 25B edition brings subtle but smart updates: the front flap is slightly wider at 7 inches (compared to 6¾ inches on the original), and the CC logo is a touch thicker. The strap drop has also increased slightly from 20 to 20.5 inches, offering a more generous fit. Though the depth remains the same, the interior now accommodates a large phone vertically rather than sideways, providing a bit more functional space.
