Cartier has officially implemented its latest round of price increases — though, in a surprise move, this time the adjustments appear to focus almost exclusively on watches rather than the maison’s core jewelry collections.
While many shoppers had anticipated another rise across Love, Juste un Clou, and Trinity jewelry, Cartier instead turned its attention toward some of its most recognizable timepieces, with notable increases impacting both the Panthère de Cartier and Baignoire collections across the U.S. and Europe.

The timing is particularly notable given that Cartier owner Richemont is set to report financial results on Friday May 22, 2026. The Maison has leaned heavily on pricing power over the past year, particularly in the United States, where Cartier implemented two separate rounds of increases throughout 2025. During September’s hike alone, jewelry prices climbed by as much as 13% while timepieces rose close to 10%, surpassing the more modest adjustments seen across Europe at the time. Combined with May’s earlier increase, certain Cartier styles surged by more than 20% within just four months as the brand worked to rebalance euro–dollar parity amid wider luxury market pressures.
Panthère de Cartier Watch Price Increase 2026
Cartier’s Panthère de Cartier collection saw some of the most notable adjustments in this latest round of price increases, with movement varying significantly depending on metal, size, and diamond setting. While entry-level steel references saw relatively modest changes, precious metal and gem-set models experienced noticeably sharper uplifts across both the U.S. and Europe.

In the U.S., increases within the Panthère line were generally modest at entry level, with steel models rising by around 4% and two-tone references moving in the low single digits.
The more significant shifts were concentrated at the top end of the collection. The Small model in yellow gold with diamonds rose from $29,300 to $33,400 — an increase of $4,100 (around 14%). Meanwhile, the Mini model in rose gold with diamonds climbed $5,600 (nearly 18%), marking one of the sharpest movements in the range.

In Europe, pricing shifts were more mixed, with steel and two-tone models generally rising in the low single-digit range, broadly in line with the U.S. entry-level adjustments.
However, the divergence becomes more pronounced in the higher jewelry-adjacent models. The Small yellow gold Panthère with diamonds rose from €30,800 to €34,500 — an increase of €3,700 (around 12%). The Mini rose gold diamond model saw one of the strongest increases in the entire collection, jumping €10,000 (more than 30%), significantly outpacing its U.S. equivalent.

Baignoire Price Increase
Cartier’s Baignoire collection saw a more uniform round of price increases across both the U.S. and Europe, with adjustments extending through the full range.

In the U.S., Cartier’s Baignoire collection saw steady mid-single-digit increases across most of the range, with entry-level leather-strap models rising by around 6% — equivalent to roughly $550 to $800 depending on the reference.
The Mini rose gold model recorded one of the sharper moves in the line, increasing by $1,600 (around 10%), while the Small yellow gold model rose by $1,200 (around 5.6%). At the top end, diamond-set models also moved higher, with increases of roughly $2,200 to $4,500, clustering in the mid-to-high single-digit range.
European pricing followed a broadly similar trajectory, with increases spanning the full collection. Entry-level models rose by around 6%, while mid-tier and rose gold references saw increases of approximately €1,000 to €1,700.
At the higher end, diamond-set models recorded the most notable adjustments. The Mini white gold diamond model rose by €4,500 (around 7%), while other upper-tier references saw increases of roughly €2,000.
