I was in Paris for the first time in June and I have a contact SA. I will be returning in February. What is allowed with this SA? Can we buy anything from any department or do we need individual appointments for each department: shoes, jewellery, clothing and leather ?

Generally, at one of the three Hermès stores in Paris, the SA’s are assigned to one particular metier or department and assist customers in their area. However, some SA’s are permitted to assist customers in all metiers of the store. It is best to reach out to the SA you previously shopped with and ask if you may book an appointment with them to shop the entire store.
There is no need to have an appointment to shop in any metier except leather bags. You do need an appointment to shop for leather bags. Apply online through the lottery system each day for an appointment the following day. Or you could ask your SA if they may help you either secure a leather appointment or offer you a bag.
