What should I do if another SA wants to work with me? How do I break up with my old SA in the same store?
Dear Switching SA’s:
I am assuming it is your desire to switch SA’s in your home store and there is another SA you have spoken with who is agreeable to becoming your new SA. There are a few ways to approach this situation:
- Ask the new SA if there is a procedure in place in your location to facilitate the switch.
- Ask a manager to help facilitate the switch in the most respectful manner.
- Be open and honest with your present SA and tell them you would like to switch SA’s because you feel it would be a better fit. Usually, the former SA is feeling the same way you are and it will not be a problem.
- You could just start making appointments with the new SA and shopping with them without doing anything and it will work itself out.
