Dear Paris Hermès Shopper:
In Paris to request a leather handbag, quota or non-quota, requires a leather appointment. There is an online system where you must apply the day before between the hours of 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Once submitted you will get notification of whether you were granted an appointment sometime in the evening or early morning hours.

Be aware that all three of the Hermès boutiques are closed on Sundays. Therefore, you must apply on Saturday during the hours above for a Monday appointment. This is very important and could result in missing a day of trying your luck with the appointment system. All other days, apply the day before you hope to get an appointment to shop.
Follow the steps of inputting your information on the online form including your Passport number. Be sure to either choose one store or choose No Preference.
The lottery system, as the online portal is often called, receives thousands of requests each day for a very limited number of appointments. It is advisable to apply every day you will be in Paris.
