Hermès Kelly Pochette Rock: A New Icon Emerges

Forget official launches – Hermès lovers are swooning over a new custom creation: the Kelly Pochette Rock, standing shoulder to shoulder with its bigger siblings, the HAC Rock, and Birkin Rock.

The Rock style has been part of Hermès’ story since it first stormed the Men’s Fall/Winter 2022 Paris runway. Hermès reimagined the iconic HAC silhouette with utilitarian features, including multiple exterior pockets, a zippered back, and chain accents. The result carried the sleek, rebellious energy of a perfectly tailored black leather jacket. The Maison later introduced the Birkin Rock 25, carrying the same bold details with a more petite frame.

Now, the Kelly Pochette Rock channels that same leather-jacket energy into a smaller, perfectly scaled frame. Crafted in black box calfskin for a glossy, stage-ready sheen and paired with palladium hardware, it exudes both polish and attitude.

The signature Rock zip pocket takes center stage at the front, finished with a Chaîne d’Ancre chain in place of a traditional leather pull for a jewelry-like accent. Adding another dose of hardware, the Kelly Pochette Rock includes a padlock and clochette, which can be styled as a charm for extra edge. At the back, you’ll find the Rock collection’s signature patch pocket with press-stud fastening, giving the Kelly Pochette the full rockstar treatment.

While the ongoing debate between the Mini Kelly and the Kelly Pochette persists, the latter is steadily gaining momentum, proving this equally covetable silhouette is carving out its own moment. Although the limited-edition Mini Kelly Clouté has been stealing hearts with its studded adornments, the Kelly Pochette Rock brings its own biker-chick charm.

Compact but commanding, sleek yet rebellious, the Kelly Pochette proves the Hermès Rock family has more than one chart-topper.
