Hermès Hacademi Pouch

Who said the Hermès HAC has to be a carryall? Originally introduced in 1892 as the Haut à Courroies, the design would go on to become the blueprint for the Birkin. But while its oversized proportions and equestrian heritage have made it a house icon, they’re not exactly for everyone. Enter the Hacademi Pouch.

Part of Hermès’ Fall-Winter 2026 collection, the Hacademi Pouch appears within the men’s accessories universe — although its sleek proportions and clutch-like format feel decidedly unisex. Inspired by the iconic HAC, it distills the original’s signature sangle, touret fastrning, structured format and cut-out flap into a compact silhouette.

At 8.9 x 7.3 x 1.2 inches, the Hacademi Pouch is slim enough to carry under the arm or by hand, but still accomodates everyday essentials. A single saddle-stitched gusset gives the pouch its asymmetric shape, while the oversized hardware recalls that found on the Sanglons Clutch.

The construction is pared back without sacrificing practicality. A spacious main compartment provides the bulk of the storage, joined by four credit card slots and an additional business card pocket inside. An exterior zipped pocket with a gusseted construction offers a little more room than a flat pocket, making it ideal for smaller essentials.

The Hacademi Pouch arrives in Epsom calfskin, allowing the structured silhouette and precise saddle stitching to take center stage. Intended as a sleek clutch or a pouch to be tucked away, this compact format forgoes a wristlet or shoulder strap in favor of a grab-and-go approach that works for day and evening.

Currently offered in a range of neutral shades, including Noir, Gold and Gris Pantin, the Pouch is finished with palladium-plated hardware. Priced at $6,450, it sits toward the upper end of Hermès’ Pouch and To Go offering, though remains below the Kelly To Go Classique Wallet, which retails for $7,200 in Epsom.
