Louis Vuitton Travels With Grace Coddington: A Feline-Approved Travel Capsule

Who says cats can’t globetrot? Louis Vuitton’s new Travels With Grace Coddington capsule turns Coddington’s famously fluffy Persians into the stars of a whimsical, adventure-inspired lineup. Their playful personalities are captured across bags, cozy loungewear, and blankets—and, perhaps surprisingly, there’s not a cat carrier in sight, though the felines travel first class in style.

Building on the 2019 Catogram capsule, part of Louis Vuitton’s Cruise collection, this new lineup takes the concept further. In Coddington’s illustrations, the cats soar over Paris in a biplane, tiptoe along the Great Wall of China, and even blast off into space. In reality, of course, these home-loving Persians would much rather curl up on a sunny windowsill—but their imaginary escapades certainly echo Louis Vuitton’s spirit of travel.

The collection offers a mix of playful and travel-ready pieces. Silk twill pajamas feature an allover Monogram motif accented with clusters of cat-themed travel stamps, while cashmere pullovers, hoodies, and cat-adorned T-shirts are made for lounging or jetting off on your next journey.

For bags, Louis Vuitton reimagines travel staples with a cat-inspired twist. The collection features classics like the Neverfull Inside Out GM, OnTheGo Organizer, and Keepall Bandoulière 45, crafted from beige vintage-style Monogram linen canvas paired with cat-shaped clochettes, and each finished with a cat-and-mouse printed lining. Meanwhile, the Horizon 55 Business stands out with the “Meowgram” motif, injecting extra feline flair into the classic carry-on.

Continuing the linen lineup, other bags include the Speedy Bandoulière 20, Alma BB, All in GM, Montsouris PM, Escape, Carry It, and Side Trunk GM. The collection also extends to classic Monogram canvas, with pieces like the OnTheGo Cat and Wallet on Chain Ivy, featuring—you guessed it—cat motifs.

Shifting from linen to leather, the collection explores a richer palette. The Speedy Soft 30 appears in Plum calfskin, accented with gold-toned hardware and a removable cat-shaped clochette. Adding an extra touch of charm, the bag also features a removable luggage tag printed in Grace Coddington’s handwriting. The Petite Malle, also available in Plum, shares the same hand-drawn aesthetic with a removable textile cover featuring a Louis Vuitton travel patch, allowing you to switch up the look between two styles in one bag.

Rounding off the lineup, the iconic Capucines BB is reminiscent of Louis Vuitton’s Darjeeling limited luggage, famous for featuring animals on leather and later reimagined by Pharrell in the Men’s SS26 lineup. This re-edition from the 2019 collaboration is adorned with hand-drawn cat illustrations by Grace Coddington.
