Hermès welcomes 2026 with a new color palette aligned with this year’s annual theme, Venture Beyond — the Maison’s invitation “to discover new horizons and renew our curiosity, constantly.” The latest color lineup nudges past the familiar, reworking classic shades and introducing new tones that feel confident, and a little unexpected.
This year’s spectrum is measured rather than maximal, yet it offers something for neutral purists and bright color enthusiasts alike. Grounded tones Bai Brun, Carbone, and Vert Loden expand the neutral base, while Guimauve, Purple, and Jaune Mango introduce contrast and energy. Even those drawn to Pantone’s 2026 Cloud Dancer will recognize a similarly soft, pale note within the lineup.
Guimauve
Guimauve, French for “marshmallow,” is a pastel pink that immediately feels soft and sweet. On ready-to-wear and fabric accessories it appears light and airy – a true pastel pink. Meanwhile on leathers like Epsom it takes on a richer, more saturated tone reminiscent of Mauve Sylvestre.

Crème Chantilly
Crème Chantilly lives up to its name with a soft, creamy off-white that’s light, elegant, and understated. Expanding Hermès’ exotic leather color palette, Crème Chantilly is the palest alligator shade, second only to Himalaya. For those looking to add a touch of Pantone’s 2026 Cloud Dancer to their wardrobe, this may be the closest parallel within the Hermès universe, albeit limited to its most exclusive and expensive leathers.

Bai Brun
Meet Bai Brun, the newest neutral trotting onto the Hermès color roster. Inspired by the glossy coat of a bay horse, this deep chocolate brown carries warm, subtle red undertones that add richness and depth. Hermès is leaning into its warmth, most often pairing Bai Brun with Gold or Permabrass hardware to really highlight those tones. Bai Brun is certainly set to join the ranks of favorites like Ébene and Chocolat.

Carbone
Carbone, as the name suggests, is a deep gray shade that sits between charcoal and black. Cool and understated, it has a soft, subtle blue undertone that gives the shade a refined slate-gray quality. Compared with last year’s Ardoise, Carbone reads cooler, especially noticeable when paired with Palladium hardware.

Vert Loden
Vert Loden may sit in the green family, but it reads like a neutral at heart. A deep olive with subtle gray undertones, it feels earthy and grounded rather than bright. Where 2025’s Vert Mangrove leaned cooler with a blue undertone, Vert Loden stays firmly warm.

Purple
Purple by name, purple by nature. This vivid blue-tinged hue lit up the Spring-Summer 2026 runway on the revived So Kelly and the Kelly Danse. Slightly softer than Ultraviolet, it’s a classic, saturated shade that makes a statement without trying too hard.

Jaune Mango
Jaune Mango is the ultimate summery shade, vibrant, bold, and bursting with sunshine. Rich and radiant, it glows beautifully on leathers like Chèvre and Epsom, carrying a warmth that will lift any ensemble. The shade is elevated even further when paired with Gold hardware, while Palladium gives it a slightly cooler, more subdued feel.
