As an unprecedented heatwave swept through Paris, Pharrell Williams transported Louis Vuitton to the beach for its Men’s Spring-Summer 2027 collection. Paying tribute to surf culture and the communities that surround it, Louis Vuitton transformed the runway into a sun-soaked shoreline complete with real sand underfoot, and a dramatic cascading wave forming the backdrop.

Louis Vuitton’s spirit of travel came through what the house described as “a dandy experience emerging to the rhythm of surfing codes.” Tailoring was relaxed and sun-faded, juxtaposed with surf-inspired silhouettes, weathered finishes and flashes of embellishment throughout. Continuing his vision of the Louis Vuitton lifestyle, Pharrell sent models down the sand-covered runway carrying surfboards, skateboards and even a branded racing bicycle, broadening the accessories beyond the bags.

For bag enthusiasts, the collection delivered no shortage of newness. Alongside Pharrell’s now-signature Speedy P9, the Alma was reimagined in the same supple leather construction. Elsewhere, classic Monogram was updated with colorful graffiti-inspired motifs, while denim iterations introduced a softer look.

Here’s a closer look at the bags from the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2027 Men’s collection.
Alma P9 Bandoulière
The Alma receives one of the collection’s most significant updates. The nearly century-old silhouette swaps its traditional canvas-and-Vachetta construction for supple grained calf leather printed with the white Monogram. The fully tonal treatment mirrors the approach Pharrell first introduced on the Speedy P9, bringing the same softened aesthetic to another house icon.
D-rings are introduced for the option of attaching a shoulder strap, offering a more functional take on the silhouette. Presented in a range of sizes, the design was shown in a series of summery shades, including pastel pink, lemon yellow, and soft blue.

The Speedy Story Continues
Pharrell’s beloved Speedy arrives in a range of fabrications this season. Alongside new iterations of the now-signature Speedy P9 Bandoulière, the silhouette appears in reversible constructions, exotic skins, and heavily embellished finishes.
Speedy P9 Bandoulière
New season, new shades. The Speedy P9 hit the runway in a series of fresh colors for the warmer months – some with contrasting color linings that appear to be reversible. First up, a striking coral-toned pink, alongside a sea-blue iteration accented with a pop of pink along the zipper, while another featured a contrasting egg-yolk-colored interior.

Building on a concept first introduced in the Men’s Fall-Winter 2026 collection, Pharrell revisited his reversible construction. Crafted in coral leather with the Speedy P9 line’s signature white Monogram, the bag opens to reveal a contrasting black-and-white Damier interior punctuated by Louis Vuitton’s iconic flower motifs in red, blue and green.

For an even more sun-soaked aesthetic, Louis Vuitton introduced a sun-faded golden yellow edition with a subtle gradient finish. The tonal effect gives the piece a naturally weathered feel, as though it has been gently faded by the sun.

Beaded Speedy's
For embellishment, Pharrell skipped the sequins and used delicate glass beading. Across the Speedy family, in a wide range of sizes, styles feature the Monogram in white beadwork, while others present an artsy take with beads cascading across the surface.
Across a handful of designs, the traditional Vachetta trim is replaced with a textured alternative that feels subtly weathered, rendered in tonal shades that echo each bag’s base for a soft, almost crackled effect.

A more restrained interpretation of bead-work appears on the Speedy P9. Presented in its classic brown colorway and accented with scattered beaded Monogram motifs, and finished with aged Vachetta trim.

Exotic Speedy’s
Exotic styles round out the Speedy lineup. First up, a series of snakeskin iterations arrive in bold, statement-making shades — including vivid blues and acid yellows.

A single crocodile-embossed design appeared on the runway in a soft lemon yellow, finished with a matte texture, and ‘Vuitton’ appliqué lettering. This was followed by a neutral-toned ostrich leather style, finished with an all-over Monogram print as part of the Speedy P9 line.

On the smaller end of the spectrum is a statement Damier design, which on closer inspection is crafted in ombré lizard leather, overlaid with a graphic black Damier print.

Keepall Bandoulière
Beyond the Speedy’s, a mini-series of tonal Keepall’s arrived in Monogram Empreinte leather. Clutched by hand and styled without a shoulder strap, the design was presented in a soft sky blue, a neutral beige, and black.

Louis Vuitton also treated its Keepall Bandoulière to glass bead embellishments. Fully covered in colorful beadwork, the design is layered with graphic, sticker-style motifs, from surf-inspired references to Louis Vuitton emblems. Ostrich leather trim replaces Vachetta leather.

A New Take on Damier
A bold black-and-white checkerboard take on Damier also appears this season, first seen on the reversible Speedy P9 in the collection. Across the Speedy and Keepall, the motif is reinterpreted in different textures: some styles arrive in puffed leather, with each Damier square defined by quilted volume, while others are executed in printed canvas for a flat, graphic finish. Each style is elevated with red, blue, and green floral motifs trimming the top and bottom of the Damier, and finished with aged-vachetta leather.

Silk Tech Collection
Pharrell is no stranger to fabric experimentation, and this season is no exception. Alongside elevated Monogram canvas styles, a series of new bags are constructed from a “silk tech” fabrication, evoking the lightness of silk with a more robust, technical feel. Rendered in the classic brown shade, the material is scattered with vividly colored LV floral motifs across its surface and finished with Vachetta leather trim. This new fabrication appears across several silhouettes, including the Keepall Bandoulière, Speedy and Alma.

The Epi Series
WIth his penchant for reworking the classics, Pharrell took his hand to Louis Vuitton’s Epi leather. One of the brand’s more durable and structured fabrications, for this grouping it is softened and streamlined, with a suede-like finish.
This new take on Epi is first seen in the new-look Alma, first previewed on the Fall-Winter 2026 runway. Retaining its signature shape, the oversized design is crafted in Epi leather, with the Vachetta base removed for a more streamlined finish. Elongated leather handles attach directly to the body of the bag, allowing for shoulder wear, though on the runway it was styled more casually, slung across the model’s back. The style appeared in a pale pink hue.

Joining the pink lineup is the Speedy Bandoulière, alongside what appears to be a Papillon-inspired silhouette. Boastng a more cylindrical form, the elongated style features adjustable dual top handles and was styled casually over the shoulder on the runway.

Slouchier silhouettes appeared in a dusky blue hue, including a design reminiscent of the Samur saddle bag, alongside the Keepall Bandoulière. The piece retains the original’s signature leather closure, threaded through a loop and secured with an adjustable buckle, while its softened structure and short detachable top handle lend it a more contemporary feel.

The elevated LV Shopping Bag never forgoes a Pharell show, and this season it arrives in the new Epi finish in a sand-toned shade.

Shopping Bag
Beyond the Epi version, the Shopping Bag also boasts an exotic look, rendered in a baby-blue crocodile with a matte finish. Forgoing its usual ‘Louis Vuitton’ appliqué, the lettering is replaced with a more surf-inspired “Vuitton” font.

Monogram Denim
Denim continues to define and re-define some of Louis Vuitton’s most iconic silhouettes. This season, it returns with a sun-washed Monogram effect, reminiscent of the Monogram Denim Flowers capsule collection. Appearing on both the Speedy and a notably slouchier iteration of the Steamer, the fabric brings a relaxed, lived-in feel to the designs. Brightly colored embroidered LV floral motifs are scattered across the surface, alongside a patch-style Louis Vuitton emblem.

Canvas Details
Beyond the denim, a series of classic coated canvas designs are updated with colorful painted-style motifs. Showcased across the Keepall Bandoulière 25, Nil, and the Satchel Wearable Wallet, each piece features painterly LV floral graphics scattered across the surface.

Sea-Themed Bags
Plucked straight from Louis Vuitton’s sandy shoreline, the shell-inspired bags lean directly into the show’s coastal narrative. First up is a minaudière-style piece, rendered in silver-tone metal with a clasp closure and a vintage-like finish. Carried by hand on the runway, the design is finished with a delicate chain shoulder strap.
Making a statement is a large bucket-style bag. Shaped like an oversized cone shell and rendered in what appears to be an exotic texture, the design features a Monogram-lined drawstring interior complete with pearl detail, alongside a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap.

Joining the beach party is a zip-around volleyball design, echoing a silhouette also seen in the Women’s Resort 2027 collection. Crafted in a sun-bleached blue and white artistic finish with Monogram detailing, the design is completed with aged Vachetta shoulder straps.
Swimming into the mix is a statement LV Turtle Bag, rendered with a hard-sided Monogram shell, and finished with Vachetta head and flippers.

Trunks
Oversized trunks carted onto the runway have become a Pharrell signature, and the sand underfoot did nothing to slow things down. This season’s statement trunks span a range of finishes, from wood with mother-of-pearl Monogram detailing, to rippled metalwork evoking ocean surfaces, alongside Epi-leather seascapes and bold exotic skins.
