5 Summer-Ready Louis Vuitton Resort 2027 Bags

After an experimental Cruise 2027 runway filled with sculptural accessories and playful Keith Haring motifs, Louis Vuitton transitions to a more sun-drenched mood for LV Resort 2027. Not to be confused with a Cruise or traditional Resort collection, this is Louis Vuitton’s more informal warm-weather release — often referred to as the House’s “Beach” capsule — where the mood turns lighter, more relaxed, and distinctly holiday-coded.

Capturing long days on the coast and the House’s enduring sense of wanderlust, Resort 2027 unfolds in sun-washed tones and airy fabrications, spanning both archival silhouettes and new seasonal forms.

Side Trunk

First introduced for Cruise 2023, the Side Trunk has since become a warm-weather staple within Louis Vuitton’s accessories lineup. For Resort 2027, the signature silhouette is reworked in the new ‘Minigram’ fabrication — smooth calfskin printed and embossed with the motif to create a subtle two-tone finish. Anchored by its trunk-inspired hardware, the design features gold-tone reinforced corners and the House’s signature S-lock closure.

Offered in two sizes — the PM, measuring 7.5 x 4.9 x 3 inches, and the MM at 9.3 x 6.3 x 3.3 inches — both styles can be worn on the shoulder or crossbody thanks to the duo of removable, adjustable straps. Colorways include Light Bliss, a soft pale pink exclusive to the PM ($4,850), alongside Hazelnut and Banana in the MM ($5,100).

Speedy Soft

The iconic Speedy may be approaching its centenary, but the Speedy Soft is still in its infancy. First introduced in 2024 as a slouchier evolution of the classic Monogram silhouette, it offers a more relaxed, supple interpretation of the House’s most recognizable silhouette.

For Resort 2027, the design is updated in the new ‘Perfo’ signature — Monogram coated canvas punctuated with all-over perforations, revealing a vibrant cobalt blue lining. A matching calfskin ‘Neon Wave’ label that doubles up as a useful slip pocket adds a graphic finish to the front. Trimmed with Vachetta leather top handles and the Speedy Soft’s signature non-adjustable curved Toron shoulder strap with a drop of 9.4-inches for easy shoulder wear. Measuring 11.8 x 6.7 x 8.3 inches in size 30, it offers ample space for a tablet, large wallet, sunglasses, phone, and cosmetics. The Speedy Soft 30 retails at $4,050.

Double Take Pochette Cosmétique

Louis Vuitton has us doing a double take with the aptly named Double Take Pochette Cosmétique. Part of the ‘Romantic LV Stamp’ line within the Resort collection, the design is rendered in Banana colored coated canvas featuring a mini-Monogram pattern softened with stripe detailing.

Designed as a two-in-one silhouette, the piece combines a curved zip-top cosmetics pouch with a removable Vachetta leather harness-style casing, finished with dual top handles that lend a subtle nod to the Alma. The structured outer frame — reminiscent of the Hermès Birkin harness from its Spring-Summer 2021 collection, allows the pouch to be styled as a bag, or removed for standalone use. Measuring 9.8 x 5.5 x 2.4 inches, it offers space for a phone, wallet, keys, and cosmetics. The Double Take Pochette Cosmétique bag retails for $3,900.

The It Can

Stay refreshed this summer with Louis Vuitton’s It Can. Crafted from noughties-coded Monogram Miroir canvas in silver, the design is finished with a bold LV-branded graphic label. A zip-top opening at the top of the can reveals a compact interior measuring 5.1 x 5.7 x 3.3 inches, sized to hold small essentials such as a card holder, lipstick — though a phone will require a pocket.

Finished with a removable silver-tone chain with a 19.9-inch drop, the It Can is designed to be worn crossbody or on the shoulder. The LV It Can retails for $2,600.

Ace Bag

Primed for beach days and spontaneous getaways, Louis Vuitton introduces the Ace Bag. Defined by its perfectly spherical silhouette, measuring a 10.4-inch diameter, the design combines signature Monogram canvas with bold strips of leather in red, blue, orange, and pink for a playful, sport-leaning finish.

Designed for shoulder wear, it features elongated Vachetta leather dual top handles and secures with a zip-around fastening. Inside, a fully lined interior offers ample space for a phone, small wallet, keys, and cosmetics. Expanding Louis Vuitton’s growing lineup of sports-ball inspired accessories, the design joins the House’s soccer and rugby ball bag iterations. The Ace Bag retails for $5,200.

LV Ice Cream Bag Charm

Last but not least, designed to beat the heat, LV introduces the Ice Cream Bag Charm. Crafted from Monogram Reverse coated canvas in the form of a wafer cone, it’s topped with a perfectly sculpted scoop of plush fur. A zip fastening reveals space for earbuds or other small essentials, or simply serves as a playful accent across any bag thanks to its snap hook fastening. Available in two “flavours” — Cream and Pink, the LV Ice Cream Bag Charm retails for a cool $1,290.
