The Kelly Moove design pays homage to the iconic vintage Kelly Banana bag, which debuted in the 1990s as the inaugural version of the Hermès Kelly Pochette. Characterized by its distinctive belt-style strap, the Kelly Banana featured a relaxed, elongated silhouette complemented by the iconic Hermès buckle. Minimal in its design, the belt seamlessly threaded through the back of the pochette, transforming it into a stylish and functional belt bag. While this particular design has since been discontinued, its influence on the Kelly Moove is undeniable. 

Today, the timeless elegance of the Kelly Banana bag finds new life in the fresh design of the Kelly Moove. Preserving the iconic silhouette of its predecessor, this modern reinterpretation brings a touch of innovation and function to the classic design. A standout feature of the Kelly Moove is the addition of a petite detachable pouch affixed to the strap. This mini pouch is a small but perfectly formed version of its larger counterpart – a mother-and-daughter Kelly duo. Though it may only accommodate small items like AirPods or credit cards, this petite companion effortlessly elevates the overall charm of the bag. 

Furthermore, the Kelly Moove distinguishes itself by featuring an adjustable shoulder strap, breaking free from the confines of a traditional belt bag. This adaptability allows the bag to be worn not only as a crossbody but also comfortably on the shoulder, or of course, as a chic belt bag. Additionally, the mini pochette can be worn alone as a small but perfectly formed belt bag. 

Currently, the Kelly Moove is only available in one size, which is slightly smaller than the Kelly Pochette. The bag measures approximately 7.8 x 4.7 x 2.3 inches, so it sits close to your body while comfortably housing your daily necessities. With its compact sizing, the Kelly Moove stands out as a versatile unisex companion and a fantastic petite alternative to the Kelly Messenger.

So far, the Kelly Moove has only been produced in the soft and supple Swift leather. Among the advantages of Hermès Swift leather are its durability, semi-smooth finish, and fantastic color absorption. You’ll find the Kelly Moove in an array of timeless neutral hues like Etoupe, Gold, and Noir, ideal for everyday use. Additionally, Bleu Saphir and Blanc iterations of the Kelly Moove were showcased at the Hermès Objects Presentation. Stay tuned for the possibility of Hermès vibrant shades joining the lineup soon. Introduced in the Spring Summer 2023 collection, the Hermès Kelly Moove only made its debut in boutiques towards the end of 2023. First released within the Asian market, the Kelly Moove has now started to make its way into boutiques in Europe and the United States.
