4 Irresistible Louis Vuitton Bags for Spring–Summer 2027

Louis Vuitton had us looking up before the first look even arrived. Suspended above the Cour Carrée of the Louvre, concept cars adorned with color-blocked stripes and Damier motifs transformed the runway into a surreal vision of the future. Set to Will Powers’ “Adventures in Success,” the scene became an “invitation to consider travel beyond the paths already taken.”

Artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière embraced a palette of off-white, soft grays, and butter yellow setting the tone. The show opened with softly draped garments, subtle folds, flashes of skin through mesh panels, and floaty hemlines, giving the collection an easy, breezy feel. Sequins added a touch of glamour, while black leather brogues brought a masculine edge to the opening looks.

As the show progressed, more futuristic silhouettes followed, including stiff silk coats finished with ruffled trims and sheer dresses punctuated by geometric color blocking. Models wore glittering, disco-ball-like beaded adornments across the forehead, adding another flash of futurism to the looks.

The bag lineup took a pared-back approach this season, with various styles spotlighting the Monogram Flower in different ways, from leather accents to hardware details. Sleek pochette-like shoulder bags arrived in soft shades that almost disappeared into the ensembles, hugging the body, while larger shoulder styles followed with a clean, hardware-light finish. Notably absent were many of Louis Vuitton’s familiar handbag icons, with the Alma making just one runway appearance.

Here’s a closer look at the standout Monogram Flower styles from Louis Vuitton Spring–Summer 2027.

Monogram Flower Pochette & Hobo

First to hit the runway was a sleek new pochette, similar in size and silhouette to the Pochette Accessoires. Its slim profile tucked neatly under the arm, while the East-West silhouette and softly curved lines gave the familiar shape a contemporary feel.

A slim, adjustable leather shoulder strap extends from Monogram Flower details that sit against and hug the sides of the bag. Each flower is finished with a central stud, adding a subtle hardware accent to the otherwise streamlined design. A zip-top fastening completes the style, which was presented in Epi leather as well as Monogram canvas. The silhouette also appeared as a larger hobo-style tote, keeping the pared-back proportions and slim, adjustable shoulder strap. This version was shown in Epi alongside a heavily grained leather finish.

Monogram Flower Flap Bag

The Monogram Flower blooms on a new Flap Bag, taking center stage as an oversized clasp finished with a bead-like detail at its center. Crafted in Epi leather, the bag puts a fresh spin on the signature texture, with its leather grain running diagonally across the front rather than in their usual horizontal direction. The etched lines across the metal Flower echo this same direction, creating a seamless look between the hardware and leather.

Structured in a classic boxy silhouette, the bag is softened by a gently curved front flap and finished with a slim, adjustable shoulder strap for versatile styling. The new style was presented in black and a light khaki shade, both finished with gold-tone hardware.

Monogram Flower Bowling Bag

At first glance, the new bowling bag is all smooth leather and clean lines, with a rectangular silhouette recalling the proportions of the Hermès Victoria. Look closer, though, and the flowers are doing the heavy lifting: silver-tone Monogram Flowers replace traditional metal eyelets, with the slim leather shoulder straps threading directly through the blooms. The treatment recalls a hardware detail seen across Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel handbag lineups, where the strap attachment becomes part of the design.

A zip fastening runs halfway down each side, while the pared-back construction keeps the focus on those unexpected floral attachments. On the runway, the style appeared in tan and butter yellow, both finished with silver-tone hardware.
