Is This the Chicest Louis Vuitton Speedy P9 Bag Yet?

When Pharrell Williams first reimagined the Speedy for Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Spring-Summer 2024 collection, the intention was clear: to reframe the house’s most recognizable silhouette through a combination of loud bold print and texture. Debuting as the Speedy P9 Bandoulière, it marked a recalibration of the icon — shifting from canvas to Monogram-printed leather, resulting in a softer, more refined execution.

From there, the Speedy P9 Bandoulière has evolved through material and finish. What began with fresh seasonal colorways has developed into a broader exploration of proportion and surface — from metallic and So Black executions to printed, exotic, and embellished interpretations.

For Pre-Fall 2026, the silhouette takes a more subdued turn. Rendered in luxurious suede calfskin, the Monogram moves away from its original bold, high-contrast execution in favor of a tonal, debossed treatment that blends into the bag’s surface. Elevating the look further, the aged Vachetta trim is replaced with tonal calfskin for a fully cohesive finish.

Offered in two sizes, the Speedy P9 Bandoulière 30 in Brown measures 12.6 x 8.9 x 7.1 inches, while the larger 40 in Gray comes in at 15.7 x 10.2 x 9.1 inches. Both versions feature a lambskin-lined interior with a zipped pocket and slip pocket for essentials. Signature house details complete the construction, including a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap, a luggage tag, and a matching leather pouch with hook-and-chain fastening. The size 40 is further elevated with a pair of removable LV-printed silk scarves wrapped around the top handles.

Pricing places the Speedy P9 Bandoulière in the upper tier of Louis Vuitton’s handbag offering. Compared to the standard Speedy P9 — $10,800 for the 30 and $11,900 for the 40 — the suede iteration arrives at a premium, $14,200 and $15,700.
