Luxury Promise Takes Tokyo With an Immersive Pop-Up Boutique This May

If you’ve ever been searching for rare, coveted, or highly collectable luxury bags, there is no better place than Japan.

Whether it’s an Hermès Mini Kelly 20 with its bracelet-style top handle dating back to the 1980s, a Chanel Heart bag from Karl Lagerfeld’s 1995 Spring-Summer Barbie collection, or an original Louis Vuitton x Murakami Cerises Speedy 30 from 2005, Japan has become a key destination for sourcing some of the most sought-after vintage pieces.

Long regarded as one of the most influential markets for pre-loved luxury, the country has built a global reputation for its exacting standards when it comes to condition, rarity, and preservation. Pieces are not only carefully sourced, but often kept in exceptional condition – creating a market that feels more archival than transactional. It’s exactly this culture that has made Japan a reference point for collectors worldwide.

With such a wide network of pre-loved luxury boutiques, vintage stores, and shopping districts, navigating Tokyo’s luxury landscape can feel almost overwhelming. Fortunately, Luxury Promise offers a more focused lens this May. Sabrina Sadiq and the Luxury Promise team present their Tokyo Pop-Up in the heart of the city’s vintage luxury district.

Inside the Luxury Promise Tokyo Pop-Up & Live Shows

For those hoping to discover a standout piece this spring, this is the chance to explore, shop, and uncover something truly special under one roof. So, if Tokyo is on your travel list this season, this is the destination this season. You can find Luxury Promise in Tokyo from May 26th – 31st, 2026 at:

3-15-5 Kita-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo (Opposite St. Grace Cathedral / what3words: hunches.visual.posting)

Whether you join us in person or tune in from anywhere in the world on Luxury Promise’s website, the full experience is accessible throughout the week. Running from May 25th–31st, the live shows will spotlight everything from watches, jewelery to highly coveted handbags. Check out the full schedule, and follow along at Luxury Promise.

What sets the Luxury Promise Tokyo Pop-Up apart is not just the curation, but the format itself. For the first time, Luxury Promise will stage a dedicated two-floor pop-up experience in the heart of Tokyo – bringing together a full spectrum of luxury categories including handbags, ready-to-wear, watches, and fine jewelery, all under one roof.

The ground floor will serve as a fully immersive retail space, allowing visitors to explore and shop a precisely curated selection in person. Above it, a dedicated live show studio will host ongoing broadcasts throughout the week – marking it the first integrated live-commerce and retail pop-up of its kind in the global pre-owned luxury market.

The curation itself spans both classics and collector-level pieces, with approximately 150 bags available across the pop-up, alongside ready-to-wear, watches, and fine jewelery. Expect an extraordinary mix of pieces spanning some of the most sought-after corners of the vintage market: from exotic Hermès Birkins in ostrich and crocodile, to increasingly hard-to-find Vibrato designs and rare vintage Chanel Classic Flaps, alongside icons from the Barbie collection.
