Celine is giving its signature Triomphe a little flair for Fall 2026. Its new Flair Bag incorporates the House’s historic emblem into a new, casual silhouette, taking the familiar motif in an entirely different direction.

Following the storied Phoebe Philo era, which produced several of Celine’s modern “it” bags, Hedi Slimane delved into the House’s archives for his inaugural collection in 2018, reintroducing the Triomphe emblem originally created by founder Céline Vipiana in 1973. The logo has since become one of Celine’s most recognizable signatures, appearing across the House’s bags, accessories, and ready-to-wear. For Fall 2026, Michel Rider doubled down on the emblem, reworking it into a new turn-lock closure for the Flair.

Rather than the boxy, structured proportions associated with the Triomphe Bag, the Flair boasts a softened elongated East-West profile with a top handle and envelope-style flap front. Its proportions give the classic doctor’s bag a contemporary Celine interpretation, with gently curved lines that lend the silhouette its relaxed shape. Crafted in calfskin, the Flair naturally settles under its own weight, creating an easy, relaxed shape, while protective metal feet keep the base elevated when set down.

At the center of the envelope flap, the Triomphe emblem has been reworked into a new turn-lock closure, with a Chanel-esque twist mechanism that twists open and shut. A second Triomphe sits on the body beneath the flap, so when the bag is left open, the two emblems line up for a layered effect. The flap can be secured neatly in place or left slightly undone, with a zipped compartment underneath keeping essentials contained.

Available in two sizes: the Small works as an everyday handbag, while the Medium has the proportions of a substantial carryall. The Small Flair measures 9.4 x 4.7 x 3.5 inches, with one main compartment and an inner flat pocket, while the Medium Flair measures 13.4 x 6.7 x 5.1 inches, bringing generous proportions and a distinctly unisex feel. Alongside its main compartment, the Medium has both an inner flat pocket and an inner zipped pocket, giving smaller essentials their own designated spaces.

Across the line, the Flair comes in distinct leather variations, from classic shiny calfskin to supple suede and glossy lambskin, as well as XL grained calfskin, named for its oversized grain. The textured finish marks a fresh direction for Celine, which has traditionally favored smooth and polished leathers across many of its signature bags. Color options range from classic Black and Chestnut to statement shades including Purple and Ultra Red.
