What’s black and white and always in fashion? Polka dots, according to Christian Dior. The founding couturier embraced the motif from his debut haute couture collection in 1947, declaring them “always in fashion.” Nearly eight decades later, Jonathan Anderson is giving the historic motif a fresh spin with PolkaDior, bringing a playful new energy to a much-loved Dior signature.

From ready-to-wear and footwear to small leather goods and, of course, bags, PolkaDior is popping up across the Fall-Winter 2026 collection. Whether debossed into leather, shimmering in sequins, or embroidered onto canvas, the motif takes on a different character with every finish. Here are five bags giving us reasons to fall for PolkaDior.
Small Dior Bow Bag
Consider this PolkaDior all wrapped up in a bow. First introduced in Jonathan Anderson’s debut collection for the House, the Small Dior Bow Bag gets a PolkaDior makeover in black-and-white sequin-embroidered satin. The shimmering spots pop against the cinched-in, bow-shaped silhouette, while a chain strap adorned with miniature bows adds another dose of whimsy. An embroidered Dior signature and magnetic closure finish the design, with an interior zip pocket keeping small essentials secure. Measuring 10 × 6.5 × 4 inches, the bag can be carried as a clutch or worn over the shoulder or crossbody with its removable chain strap. The Small Dior Bow Bag in the PolkaDior edition retails for $5,000.

Saddle Bag with Strap
John Galliano famously explored new interpretations of the Saddle during his tenure at Dior, and Anderson is continuing that spirit of experimentation. Crafted in black calfskin, this version features a white PolkaDior motif that is both printed and debossed into the leather, with scalloped detailing tracing the edges. The signature D stirrup strap and magnetic pull secure the flap, while silver-tone CD signatures adorn either side of the top handle. Measuring 10 × 8 × 2.5 inches, the bag fits a wallet, phone, card holder, sunglasses, and lipstick. An adjustable, removable strap allows for crossbody wear, while the top handle preserves the Saddle’s sleek, streamlined ’90s silhouette. The Saddle Bag with Strap in PolkaDior retails for $5,700.

Lady D-Joy Micro Bag
From one Dior icon to another, the Lady D-Joy Micro Bag brings a ladylike touch to PolkaDior. Crafted in black calfskin, its sleek, elongated silhouette is framed by scalloped trim tracing the top. Silver-tone D.I.O.R. charms and a detachable leather bow complete the look. Measuring 7 × 3.5 × 2 inches, the micro bag fits a phone, card holder, and lipstick. Two removable straps offer styling options: carry it by hand with the chain, wear it over the shoulder, or go crossbody with the adjustable leather strap. The Lady D-Joy Micro Bag in PolkaDior retails for $4,300.

Medium Dior Book Tote
Polka dots meet Parisian charm. The Medium Dior Book Tote is covered in black-and-white PolkaDior embroidery, with white scalloped for a finishing touch. A statement bow bearing the Dior signature adorns one of the top handles, while the adjustable, removable shoulder strap offers hands-free styling. Measuring 14 × 11 × 6.5 inches, the tote has room for a 13-inch laptop, small tablet, phone, wallet, sunglasses, and other daily essentials, while an interior zip pocket and two slip pockets help keep everything in place. The Medium Dior Book Tote with Strap in PolkaDior retails for $4,400.

My Dior Mini Bag
Dior changes its spots with the My Dior Mini Bag. Rather than clearly defined dots, black and subtle flashes of silver-tone sequins embroidered onto black lambskin for an all-over shimmer. A decorative leather bow adorns the flap, finished with silver-tone D.I.O.R. charms, while the removable chain strap features matching bow links. Measuring 8.5 × 4.5 × 2 inches, the compact design fits a phone, card holder, and lipstick. Two interior compartments, three card slots, and a rear slip pocket keep essentials organized, while the folding leather top handle and removable chain offer versatile styling. The My Dior Mini Bag in PolkaDior retails for $4,100.

Dior Médallion Bag Charm
Not ready to go full PolkaDior? Consider this your dotty little compromise. Inspired by the 18th-century Rococo aesthetic of Dior’s salons, the Médaillon shaped charm opens to reveal a handy mirror, making it as practical as it is decorative. Hang it onto your favorite bag for a little Dior dot appeal, without committing to an entirely new handbag. The Dior Médaillon Bag Charm retails for $590.
