By now, we luxury lovers ought to be used to the barrage of price hikes from our favorite designers. But the latest news that Louis Vuitton has increased the prices for some of its styles from Monday 22nd March has even us here at Pursebop aghast.
As far as we know, only the Capucines and Twist bags are facing price hikes. Of course, that could change.

Louis Vuitton increased prices most recently in early January. On average, styles increased by around 3-5% across the board. However, some popular styles like the Multi Pochette went up as much as 10%.

As you may recall, prices for Louis Vuitton bags rose twice in 2020 – during the pandemic. These across the board increases were in increments of 3% and then 5%.

The Capucines and Twist styles were not among those affected by the January 2021 price hike. Perhaps, then, the latest increase is no surprise. However, the news will no doubt dismay LV lovers.
Despite both styles being relatively new – that is, less than 10 years old – each has proved immensely popular among bag lovers. The Capucines and Twist styles generally are regarded as modern LV classics. Both have been reimagined in a plethora of new materials and colors, including exotics and limited edition pieces.
