I just received my special order 25 cm Birkin with brushed gold hardware! I ordered it almost 9 months ago! It’s beautiful! The internal stamp is a 6 digit alphanumeric stamp with the craftsman’s initials below it. Nowhere do I see the year stamp. Does anybody know anything about this?

Hey Libby! As far as I know, from maybe 2017 on they got rid of an identifying year corresponding stamp. I believe to cut down on fake bags. So the numeric code Hermes uses now or maybe the artisans specific stamp has a year meaning to Hermes only, but we as customers wouldn’t know it. I’m not positive on this, but PurseBop might have better info? Hope this helps! xoxoxo
