Hi! I was recently offered a gold Kelly 25 Retourne with gold hardware. But I wasn’t sure about the Retourne style as I prefer the Sellier look. However, I absolutely love the gold on gold combo, just hesitant on the Retourne. Hence, I asked for a Kelly in Sellier and was offered a mini Kelly in Ètoupe with palladium hardware. I had to make a quick decision on the spot so I went with the mini Kelly without looking at the gold Kelly 25. Now I’m having second thoughts if I made the right choice! Help!

It is very difficult and stressful to decide in a split second whether to accept or reject a quota bag. Buyers remorse is very common. In our experience any quota bag you accept is rarely a mistake. Once you unbox it at home, match it to your wardrobe, and begin using it, you will likely fall in love.
Since you prefer the Sellier style of Kelly, rejecting the Kelly Retourne is understandable. You may find in the future you would like a Retourne Kelly but maybe this was not the right time.
Nevertheless, some believe that being offered a mini Kelly is akin to winning the lottery. However, the mini Kelly has many pros and cons. Some of the cons are that it is tiny, holds very little, and has a shorter shoulder strap for crossbody wear. - It is the perfect accessory to any outfit
- It is very exclusive and extremely limited in availability
- It comes in every neutral color and a rainbow of bright beautiful colors as well
Our suggestion is to use and enjoy your new mini Kelly. If you still have doubts about whether you like the bag, you have options. But if you are building a collection of Hermès bags, then a mini Kelly is a must. Give it some time. We think you will experience the joy of using a mini Kelly as so many have.
