Breaking away from the time-honored Birkin and Kelly, the Hermès Arçon introduces a fresh silhouette that offers laid-back luxury appeal. The Hermès Arçon seamlessly blends utilitarian elements with an effortlessly chic crescent moon shape. Its structured hobo design, coupled with a wide shoulder strap, exudes understated elegance and allows the refined quality of the leather to shine.
Paying homage to the brand’s heritage, the Arçon embraces equestrian-inspired details, including a key fob attached by a D-ring, as well as an external zippered pocket set diagonally across the body. The iconic H buckle fastening finishing the adjustable shoulder strap adds that extra touch of Hermès’ iconic flair.
Available in two sizes, the Hermès Arçon provides exceptional comfort across the board. The original size was presented in luxurious Barenia leather at the Hermès Objects Presentation in Paris, while the petite Arçon was showcased in Clémence.

Its wide strap ensures effortless shoulder wear and facilitates a seamless crossbody fit that conforms to the contours of the body. Despite the shorter crossbody style of both sizes, the Arçon curves with the wearer, sitting slightly higher while retaining its sleek appearance – a testament to its suitability for everyday use.
During its debut in Spring/Summer 2023, the Hermès Arçon made its entrance in a canvas and leather variation, better known as the Arçon Toile, retailing for $6,000.
In the latest collection for the upcoming S/S 2024, Hermès featured the Arçon in an array of neutral-tone heritage leathers, including Barenia, Beton, Gris Tourterelle, and Noir. Notably, the luxurious Barenia leather with its contrast stitching, radiated the brand’s heritage allure, while enhancing the silhouette and emphasizing the bag’s fine detailing. Palladium hardware further accentuates the bag’s equestrian themes, infusing an additional contemporary edge to this modern classic.
Innovative in design and adaptable in wear, the Arçon also reads unisex. Its single adjustable strap enables seamless transitions, effortlessly shifting from a shoulder bag to a top handle or a chic crossbody. This adaptability provides the Arçon with a spectrum of styling options, making it an ideal companion for various occasions, whether for travel or simply as the ultimate everyday accessory.
Although the Spring/Summer 2024 Arçon is eagerly anticipated, specific pricing details for this release are yet to be confirmed.
