Tiffany’s Blue Box Gets Pricier: U.S. Jewelry Prices Climb

Editor’s Update: January 20, 2026

It’s official. Just months after Tiffany & Co.’s October 2025 U.S. price adjustment — which pushed prices higher by roughly 3% to 11% — the House has entered 2026 with another round of increases. Effective January 20, 2026, updated pricing is now live across many of Tiffany’s most recognizable jewelry collections, including HardWear, Lock, T by Tiffany, Knot, Bone Cuff by Elsa Peretti, and Return to Tiffany. This latest update spans a broader spectrum, with adjustments ranging from restrained single-digit increases to nearly 15% on select designs.

Notably, several gold-heavy HardWear designs have now absorbed back-to-back increases since mid-2025, pushing total price increases since mid-2025 into the double-digit range for several core styles. Pieces such as the Micro Link Necklace and diamond-set Medium Link Necklaces now sit more than 18–20% higher than their pre-October pricing.

Across the board, the dollar impact varies by material, design complexity, and original price. Entry-level pieces generally increased between $25 and $175, while higher-end gold and diamond-accented designs saw adjustments of hundreds to several thousand dollars. Rather than a uniform adjustment, the changes reveal a highly selective pricing strategy across collections. For now, European prices remain unchanged.

HardWear posted some of the most noticeable movement in this update, especially among gold designs. The Micro Link Necklace in yellow gold now sits at $9,900, up roughly 10%, and the Medium Link Necklace with diamonds rose to $42,000 (+9%). At the very top end, the Graduated Link Necklace in yellow gold with pavé diamonds saw a comparatively restrained 1.1% increase.

Price revisions for Lock by Tiffany were comparatively restrained. The Yellow Gold & Diamond Accent Bangle rose to $13,000 (just over 8%), standing out as the collection’s most meaningful adjustment, while smaller rings and pendants experienced only modest upward movement.

T by Tiffany showed the widest internal spread. The yellow gold Smile Bracelet jumped nearly 15% to $1,375, making it the clearest outlier, while most other pieces across the line edged up only slightly, particularly at the entry level.

Tiffany Knot followed a similar pattern. The Double Row Hinged Bangle in yellow gold climbed to $11,300 (just under 10%), signaling stronger pressure on gold styles, while simpler designs saw more limited changes – generally between 2% and 4%.

Lovers of Elsa Peretti’s Bone Cuff can breathe a sigh of relief. The Medium Bone Cuff in sterling silver rose just over 2% to $2,300, a sharp contrast to last year’s far steeper jumps.

Finally, the iconic Return to Tiffany line saw smaller increases overall compared with last year, with average adjustments around 4.9%, roughly half of October 2025’s 9% hike. The Mini Heart Tag Pendant in yellow gold increased to $1,075 (about 10%), while most silver pieces experienced only minimal adjustments.

As the luxury industry settles into its familiar January reset, it appears Hermès may not be the only Maison ushering in 2026 with price adjustments. Industry sources suggest Tiffany & Co. is preparing another round of pricing changes, rumored to take effect around January 20, 2026.

The anticipated January adjustment follows Tiffany’s most recent U.S. price increase in October 2025, when the House implemented changes across nearly all jewelry categories. Collections including Tiffany HardWear, T by Tiffany, Lock, Knot, Elsa Peretti’s Bone Cuff, and Return to Tiffany were impacted, with prices rising approximately 3% to 11%. Moderately priced designs increased by roughly $100–$200, while higher-value pieces saw adjustments reaching into the thousands. Engagement jewelry remained untouched, and European pricing was left unchanged at the time.

With that increase now in place, early indications suggest that January 2026 will bring a firmer recalibration. Current signals point to more pronounced adjustments across both the United States and Europe, as Tiffany continues to navigate elevated gold and platinum costs. Price movement is expected to be most noticeable among high precious-metal content designs across the House’s core collections.

With January 20 now firmly on the radar, Tiffany buyers may want to mark their calendars and reconnect with their sales associates. If pricing adjustments land as expected, current pricing on select collections may be available for only a limited time.

Stay tuned, as we’ll continue tracking boutique updates and regional price changes, and will publish a full breakdown once adjustments are reflected across Tiffany’s platforms.
