When we reported on the new “Little Lindy” in 2019, we couldn’t have anticipated what ended up happening. (Read: Did You See The Little Lindy?) In short, the PurseBop community got more than a little lovesick for Lindy.
While the Lindy is a classic Hermès bag, it tends to leave H-lovers divided: either you love it or you hate it. (Read: Hermès 101: Hermès Lindy Bag) But this wasn’t the case with the Lindy 20, a.k.a. the mini Lindy. Almost unanimously, fashionistas went gaga for the new mini bag. At the time, however, we didn’t have all the details, like prices, exact dimensions, or photos galore. Now, we do.
The mini Lindy made its debut at the Hermès Fall/Winter 2019 runway show in January of last year. (And immediately after, our Lindy 101 article blew up…quelle surprise!)
It wasn’t released in boutiques until the summer, and it was only a few months ago that the mini Lindy made its appearance in the U.S.
The little Lindy is true to its roots: it essentially functions as any Lindy bag, with the added bonus of a cross-body strap (so it’s extra-practical). The unusual placement of the handles gives the bag its atypical shape, and you can carry it in the hand or via the strap.
And it’s certainly a mini bag, but it reportedly carries a fair amount—more than, say, the Constance.
It’s important to note that this bag is still quite rare, even though it’s reached Hermès boutiques worldwide.
