The 10 Hottest Louis Vuitton Bags Of The Moment

It’s hard to stick around in an industry like fashion. So often, styles, brands, and trends are hot one minute and not the next. But Louis Vuitton is one of the few fashion brands with sustained desirability and clout for well over a century. Established in 1854, Louis Vuitton remains one of the world’s most luxurious fashion houses. It continues to lead the way with new, now iconic, bag styles.

Louis Vuitton’s continued success rests largely on the ability to adapt its signature style to contemporary trends. The classic LV Monogram, first designed in 1896, endures as a hallmark of the Louis Vuitton brand today. That iconic LV Monogram is incorporated into many of the house’s newer bags, as well as older classic styles like the Speedy and Alma. Reimagined many times, Monogram is still used by the house in the original design too.

Always on the forefront of trends, some of the hottest bags are Louis Vuitton. Whether classic bags in new materials and colorways or brand new styles, here are some of the latest. Enjoy!

One of the hottest bag trends right now is the vanity case as handbag. No longer just for makeup, smaller versions go from day to night. In light of Louis Vuitton’s roots in travel, it certainly knows how to make a vanity case. Although Louis Vuitton currently offers several different styles, our favorite right now is this one. Behold the Monogram Giant in Empreinte leather and the black/beige colorway.

Few bags rise to ‘It’ bag status as fast as Louis Vuitton’s Multi Pochette Accessoires did when it landed on the fashion scene back in 2019. The design helped popularize the highly covetable multi bag trend which shows no sign of abating. Louis Vuitton’s latest interpretation of the bag sees it reimagined with the popular Monogram Giant in an ombré-style blue which fades into white.

When summer comes who doesn’t dream of a designer raffia bag for sunset strolls on the beach? Louis Vuitton’s Toiletry Pouch 26 clutch comes in a sustainable raffia-like woven textile featuring signature Monogram motifs in giant form.

In recent years, the sleek ‘90/’00s shoulder bag experienced a resurgence like no other. One need only look at the number of ‘It’ girls ‘papped’ with the chic style.

Louis Vuitton’s classic Pochette Accessoires, along with its many limited edition versions, is one of the styles repeatedly tucked under the arms of supermodels, actresses and more. However, LV seemingly wants to bank heavily on this style and launched an entire series of ultra sleek under arm shoulder bags. One of our favorites (and the most versatile) is the Easy Pouch On Strap in Epi leather which features a removable strap and chain.

If you haven’t yet heard about the slouchy pouch trend … why not?! It started with the most sought-after (and shocking) ‘It’ bag of 2019 Bottega Veneta’s The Pouch, which spawned a plethora of covetable designs. The Louis Vuitton Scala Mini Pouch is everything people love about the trend – it has a relaxed finish, is easy to stuff full and can be carried multiple ways. It’s made from Mahina calf leather and perforated in the classic Monogram pattern.

The Neverful is a certified LV classic. And like all Vuitton classics, it’s been reinterpreted many times. This Monogram Giant version in Empreinte leather is a beautiful new take. We’re currently obsessing over the shade turtledove, a neutral beige hue which suits the sleek tote perfectly.

The Alma is another classic LV design reimagined over and over in new and exciting materials and colorways. This version sees the popular BB size in metallic Monogram Vernis leather with a Monogram canvas trim. The design is perfect if you want to don an LV classic – but with a twist.

First seen in Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2014 collection, the Petite Malle Souple has become a popular compact LV style. Its luggage tag and riveted leather corners pay homage to the House’s roots in luggage making. Moreover, this bag has versatility. It can be carried over the shoulder or crossbody with the thick strap which is embossed with Louis Vuitton Malletier (which translates to trunk maker in French). You also may remove the strap and carry the bag top handle style, like an adorable mini trunk.

Are you are craving Marshmallow? No, not the fluffy, gooey treats that kids love to toast over a bonfire. Rather, look at Louis Vuitton’s new croissant shaped shoulder bag (our apologies if all of the food references are making you hungry).

This hobo style bag features Monogram Giant in Empreinte leather. Its sleek shoulder strap is secured with Louis Vuitton’s classic S-Lock closure. Featuring a removable and adjustable leather shoulder/crossbody strap with chain detailing, the Marshmallow is super functional. The bag has an overall structured appearance despite its slouchy hobo style. In the cream/saffron colorway, it looks almost good enough to eat!

Despite being relatively new, the Onthego tote is already an LV fan favorite. Ironically, although praised for being a large functional tote, the small PM size is more popular. Owing to its covetable status, the small Onthego is now available in a profusion of colors. We’ve got our eyes on this bright fuchsia hue.
