If you’re hankering for a new handbag, but you just can’t open your wallet for a big spend… there is another way. We’ve written about it before; how some in the PurseBop community are strict adherents to the one in, one out approach. In other words, when you get a new bag, get rid of one already in your collection.
But, flip it and reverse it: sell your bag first to fund an acquisition. If you’re anything like us, your closet (or in PurseBop’s case, her bag armoire and under bed storage) is bursting at the seams with handbags. In many instances right now, there isn’t anywhere to actually take those beauties. You may even find them mocking you, begging to be carried. Why not let someone else sport that bag and bank the cash at least until you find just what you want.
First, look hard at your handbag collection. Itemize a few bags that you think you might be able to part with (for the right price, of course). Identify pieces that might be too big, too small, wrong color or are simply bored of.
Then, FASHIONPHILE gives two options for pricing:
You can visit Fashionphile.com & go to the “sell with us” tab of their website and fill out the get a quote form which will ask you to upload photos of the items you want to sell. In a few days you will receive a price quote.
Alternatively, schedule a virtual appointment with a FASHIONPHILE buyer. This affords the opportunity for more back and forth about the bag. You also receive have your quote during the call. Consider it another zoom call to add to your schedule.
And here’s another tip. If you decide to spend the money from the bags you sell and buy another one at FASHIONPHILE they’ll actually give you more for your bags. Be sure to ask about this during your virtual visit.
Once you’ve made your decision FASHIONPHILE will arrange to have the bags picked up at your home.
That’s it, Voila!
All right… so now you have your spending cash —this so exciting isn’t it! This is how you do it guilt free, all while keeping your savings account in check without frightful credit card bills. Will it be a new Chanel mini or Louis Vuitton Neverfull? Maybe you’ll finally splurge for that Birkin/Kelly 25 that you’ve been waiting for forever from your local store.
Let us tempt you with just a few of the endless possibilities you could buy (or you might have in your closet to sell…).
