19 Hermès Non-Quota Bags with Prices 2026

Practicality, individuality, and contemporary design are increasingly shaping the Hermès handbag landscape far beyond the uber-popular and limited Birkin and Kelly bags, also known as quota bags. As the House expands its offerings, its non-quota category is emerging as one of the brand’s most dynamic spaces in 2026.

Once defined largely by staples such as the Evelyne, Lindy, Picotin, and Garden Party, the category now extends into contemporary territory, with newer silhouettes like the Le Petit Sac and Faubourg Express sitting alongside long-established house favorites.

While more attainable than the elusive Birkin and Kelly, non-quota bags are by no means easily accessible or inexpensive. Even popular styles, such as the Evelyne 16 — still command around $2,500, with the majority of other styles quickly climbing beyond the $3,000 mark depending on size, leather, and construction.

Here are the current most coveted Hermès non-quota bags and their prices in the US and Europe.

Picotin

Most Recently reaffirmed on the Autumn-Winter 2026 runway, the Hermès Picotin Lock remains one of the house’s most enduring non-quota bags. Defined by its relaxed bucket silhouette and signature padlock detail — a hardware detail more commonly associated with the Birkin and Kelly — it strikes a balance between casual ease and signature Hermès design. Available in a range of sizes — from compact micro interpretations to the roomier Picotin 22 — the silhouette has also become a canvas for Hermès reinterpretation, with playful variations including designs like the Lucky Daisy print, Most commonly crafted in Clemence leather, the Picotin is prized for its soft structure, tactile finish, and everyday functionality, comfortably carrying essentials while maintaining an effortless aesthetic.

Evelyne

Often seen as the gateway to the vast Hermès handbag empire, this messenger style is defined by its relaxed silhouette and  practicality. First intended for equestrian use, the Evelyne’s signature perforated “H” motif designed to air out grooming tools has since become its most recognizable detail. Most commonly crafted in soft Clemence leather with a removable fabric shoulder strap, it sits close to the body in a comfortable crossbody style, making it an effortless run-around bag. Now offered in an expansive range of sizes ranging from 29 to 40 cm, the newly introduced Evelyne 23 has struck a particular balance in proportion, sitting neatly between the mini and larger formats and offering what many consider the sweet spot for everyday wear.

Lindy

The Lindy has carved out a distinct identity within the Hermès lineup thanks to its relaxed shape, versatile carry options, and growing cult following across all sizes — particularly the Mini. Defined by its softly structured, curved shape, it features a clever dual-handle construction and a detachable shoulder strap that allows it to be worn crossbody, over the shoulder, or carried by hand via its side handles. The more recent Mini Lindy II refines the proportions further, introducing a slightly shorter strap for a closer fit and more considered wear on the body.

Herbag

Often seen as a relaxed relative of the Kelly, the Herbag brings a casual, canvas-forward attitude to one of Hermès’ most iconic silhouettes. Defined by its structured Hunter cowhide flap and interchangeable canvas body, secured with the signature Clou de Selle clasp, it offers a lighter, everyday-friendly alternative. The recently introduced Mini version adds a contemporary twist, featuring a thicker shoulder strap designed for crossbody wear. Effortless, versatile, and quietly chic, it transitions seamlessly from everyday city styling to travel and beyond.

Plume

One of Hermès’ most quietly enduring silhouettes, the Plume has long been regarded as an understated classic within the Maison’s archives. Named after the French word for “feather,” it reflects a design philosophy centred on lightness and minimalism, resulting in a clean, structured form that feels effortless rather than ornate. Recently propelled back into the spotlight during Véronique Nichanian’s final Men’s Fall–Winter 2026 collection, there is a renewed appreciation for its pared-back elegance.

Bolide

First introduced in 1923, the Bolide holds the distinction of being Hermès’ first bag designed with a zipper closure, a then-revolutionary detail inspired by Emile-Maurice Hermès’ travels and the rise of modern automobile culture. Defined by its softly rounded dome silhouette and clean, minimalist construction, it has remained a quietly enduring favorite within the Maison’s non-quota offering. Over time, the design has evolved through a range of sizes — from compact mini proportions to larger travel-ready formats — while retaining its unmistakable shape. Alongside the classic hand-carry versions, more recent interpretations include shoulder-strap variations and the limited edition Bolide On Wheels

Jypsiere

Originally designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier in Fall-Winter 2008, the Jypsiere brings a distinctive Birkin-inspired messenger-style silhouette. Instantly recognizable through its signature hardware — including the plaque, pontets, and touret fastening — it balances familiar Hermès codes with a more relaxed, bohemian spirit. With an adjustable integrated strap for shoulder or crossbody wear and a surprisingly spacious interior that fits everyday essentials with ease, the Jypsiere remains a versatile companion designed for on-the-go.

Recently, the introduction of a Mini size has brought a more compact, playful proportion to the style. Effortless and versatile, it remains a discreet everyday option within the Hermès non-quota lineup.

Arçon

A more contemporary Hermès silhouette introduced in 2023, the Arçon has steadily emerged as one of the house’s most distinctive non-quota designs. Defined by its elegant crescent shape, it offers a softer reinterpretation of the hobo bag, balanced with subtle equestrian detailing and a clean, functional construction. Now available in three distinct sizes — the P’tit Arçon, the streamlined Arçon Slim, and the classic — the style spans compact crossbody ease through to a more relaxed everyday silhouette. An adjustable shoulder strap defined by its signature Étrivière  buckle adds a touch of Hermès charm to an otherwise IYKYK style. Understated yet directional, the Arçon has quickly become a favorite for collectors seeking something beyond the traditional Hermès icons.

Della Cavalleria

Introduced in 2020, the Della Cavalleria is defined by its structured silhouette and distinctive horse-bit inspired clasp. Often viewed as a quieter alternative to the coveted Constance, it delivers a similarly polished crossbody profile, but with a more understated, less immediately recognizable presence. In 2023, the line was expanded with the Della Cavalleria Élan, introducing a sleeker  interpretation of the original design.

Tablier Sellier

Introduced in the Fall–Winter 2024 collection, the Tablier Sellier is defined by clean lines and restrained detailing. A modern reinterpretation of the 1996 Dalvy, it retains a softly structured silhouette while shifting to a more contemporary east–west proportion. Its name — meaning “saddler’s apron” — subtly references both Hermès’ equestrian heritage and the elongated strap construction, which drapes comfortably over the shoulder. Crafted with a leather exterior and a removable Militaire canvas interior pouch, secured with a Clou de Selle closure, the design introduces a layered, two-in-one functionality that can be worn together or separately.

Drawing subtle references to archival designs such as the Plume and Quirus, it combines an elongated east–west profile with clean lines and refined proportions for a distinctly modern feel. Available in two sizes, features a zip-top closure, protective metal feet, lock-inspired hardware detailing, alongside a long shoulder strap that allows for easy over-the-shoulder wear or hand carry.

Defined by a softly curved flap and compact proportions that sit within the same visual family as the Constance, but with a more minimal, understated look. More recent interpretations introduce a shoulder strap — including chain and leather variations.

Defined by its soft, unstructured silhouette, it can be carried by hand or worn over the shoulder thanks to its adaptable strap system. Subtle equestrian references run through the design, from the stirrup-shaped handles to its buckle fastening.

24/24 Bag

Sitting between structure and ease, the 24/24 offers a more relaxed interpretation of Hermès’ Kelly. First introduced in the Pre-Fall 2018 collection, it combines a softly structured body with both a top handle and a detachable shoulder strap, secured via hook detailing at the back of the bag. The result is a versatile, everyday design that subtly references the house’s more formal icons, with a casual contemporary vibe.

Le Petit Sac

First seen on the Fall–Winter 2025 runway, Le Petit Sac is one of Hermès’ most minimal designs within the non-quota category. True to its name — literally “the little bag” — it takes the form of a slim pochette-style shoulder bag with a softly curved, elongated silhouette, elevated by H-shaped D-ring strap attachments. Compact and lightweight, it is sized to hold only the essentials – allowing it to transition effortlessly from day-tonight. Quietly nostalgic yet distinctly modern, it recalls early-2000s shoulder silhouettes while feeling firmly aligned with Hermès’ new wave of understated designs.

Geta

A distinctive piece within Hermès’ non-quota lineup, the Geta is defined by its architectural silhouette and elongated H closure that extends beyond the base of the bag. Drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese wooden platform sandals, it translates this reference into a compact, symmetrical messenger shape. The classic Geta has since been joined by the Geta Slim variation, which refines the proportions for a more streamlined, east-west silhouette.

Médor

First introduced in the Women’s Fall–Winter 2023 collection, the Medor reimagines Hermès’ signature studded motif in the form of a fully realized handbag, extending a design language previously seen in jewellery and accessories. Defined by a subtly trapezoidal silhouette reminiscent of the Kelly in Retourne construction, it strikes a balance between soft structure and relaxed form. The design is anchored by its standout hardware — an oversized reinterpretation of the Collier de Chien studs, rendered in a tone-on-tone finish that wraps around the bag like a belt.
