Taylor Swift is the biggest pop star on the planet. Shattering Billboard records and glass ceilings wherever she goes, Taylor is the embodiment of talent, class, elegance, and good old fashioned girl power. With the release of her 11th album, Midnights, Taylor recently occupied all ten positions on Billboard’s top ten list– the first artist ever to do so.

She sings, she writes her own songs, she produces, she directs her own music videos. Taylor also gives a platform to up and coming artists, negotiates killer business deals, and fights for artists’ rights in the notoriously unfair music industry. Even the recent debacle and controversy over concert tickets confirms she’s at the apex. And now word that Taylor has written and will direct a feature film! This woman can do it all – and looks great while doing it.

Whether clad in black tie at an awards ceremony, in a power suit at a business meeting, at the beach for a fourth of July party with her posse of friends, or creating music that will be remembered for years, Taylor unites classic looks with modern accents. In a word, she slays.

Obviously Taylor is mostly known for her singing and songwriting. However, Taylor is also an incredibly smart and incredibly powerful business woman. Famously, in 2018/2019 Taylor was embroiled in a legal dispute over ownership of her master albums. When she was unable to purchase the rights, instead of simply accepting the loss, she instead re-recorded and re-released her past albums. This was not only a big middle finger to the music industry, it also helped make her the highest paid female artist of 2021 as well as the global best selling soloist.

Fess up– how many of you are jealous that you were never invited to any of Taylor Swift’s fourth of July beach parties? Well known for celebrating female friendships– especially with long time besties like Selena Gomez, Blake Lively, and the Haim sisters (who appear in the new, self-directed music video for Bejeweled) Taylor has hosted many beach parties at her Watch Hill, Rhode Island summer home.

Since she has songs on her new album Midnight named after both the color Maroon and the color Lavender, perhaps Taylor needs two Birkin bags- one for each color. And she deserves it. She is the biggest pop star in the world after all.
